This Infographic explores the speed of metal drummers 🤘. Needless to say this was up my alley. We compared categories of metal, number of hits and types of hits by eleven (very intentional) famous tunes.

Every once in a while a client asks that I make something more metal. I am happy to oblige. 

As a white girl from the woods I was very intimidated to approach this project celebrating J Dilla and his incredible album Donuts. The goal here was to pay homage to each track and popular songs that Dilla sampled in this album's creation. For the art style I wanted to respectfully show an influence from Jeff Jank by modernizing it in a vector style filled with custom brushes and hand sketches that I worked from. 

This project terrified me and pushed my style capabilities in all the best ways. 

I was lucky enough to create this real-life visualization of the first two minutes of a monumental mix created by the Latin Rascals in the 80's. Because of the tedious work that went into creating this mix, I spearheaded myself into a hand cut paper representation, second by second. 

I began with sketches before making a vector version to receive a sign-off, after approval the fun began, Tyler Stockdale and I went to work locked in a room for two days cutting, measuring, and re-cutting before making a time-lapse of the entire build.
