This image needed to capture what it could be like to incorporate mixed reality into every day life. Frank imagines a world where a routine jog can be transformed into an otherworldly experience. My goal was to compliment his musings with a thought-provoking image that would immediately get the viewer imagining how mixed reality could enhance their daily routes. The images transformes from a dark city scene into a selected theme that tracks progress and could prompt the person to push their limits.

What’s the big deal about Quantum Computing?

Quantum Computing is undoubtedly a complex topic. Frank uses a maze metaphor to unpack the concept. My immediate concern with this image was to steer far away from brains, circuit boards and ambiguous lights that are often used to describe Quantum Computing. Here I used a maze, filed with light and paths to show how QC can transcend singular paths by filling each possible outcome at once. To bring a humanistic element in I've added a character, central to the maze.

The first in the series, I led conceptualization and art direction. AI is a hot topic and full of imagery of eyes, heads and human/robot images. To remove the expected I explored a concept that intertwines artificial intelligence into peoples lives and daily tasks. To keep it abstract we attempted to show that humans are interacting with this intelligence and are able to improve their journeys.
